While the VIPs at eShowe's International Museum Day enjoy lunch in the historical Adam's Outpost restaurant, other visitors can enjoy the opportunity to savour a range of ethnic cuisines. Zulu, Indian and Afrikaans communities in the eShowe area will be selling a variety of tempting snacks and treats at strategically placed stalls in the Museum Village.

The groups and some of the traditional fare they will offer include:

• Dutch Reformed Church: boerewors rolls.
• Zulu community: amagwinya (dumplings or "vetkoek").
• Hindu, Muslim and tamil community: samoosa, chilli bites, roti and puri patha.
